I started in the landscaping/lawncare business because of an interest in plants and growing things instilled in me at an early age by my grandfather and great uncle, who were both avid gardeners. Because of these interests, I studied Landscape Horticulture at NC state and shortly after graduation started my landscaping company Patuxent Gardens, Inc. In 2004 when I had the opportunity to join forces with The Scotts Fertilizer Co., and start the Scotts LawnService franchise in Southern, MD which has now evolved into Natural Green Systems, LLC. We have been diligently improving lawns and our client’s lives for over 30 years!
I get great satisfaction out of working with homeowners and being able to improve their quality of life and increase their property values by having a beautiful lawn. I also love building a business strong enough to provide a great work environment for the employees and a platform where they have opportunities to further their careers, raise families, and even buy homes.
Being the father of 3 children brings me great joy as well and I enjoy watching them as they succeed in high school and college. I spend my spare time boating, working on antique and classic automobiles, and working my vegetable garden. I am also an animal lover with 2 rescue dogs ,1 rescue cat and 30 very lucky chickens.
