Topdressing in Prince Frederick

Add Nutrients to Any Soil to Promote Plant Growth

Topdressing with Leafgro is a soil amendment technique that involves spreading LeafGro over a lawn to improve soil quality and promote plant growth. Natural Green applies Leafgro at a rate of 350 pounds per 1,000 square feet.

Benefits of topdressing with Leafgro:

  • Improves nutrient availability
  • Serves as a quality seed bed for overseeding
  • Improves air space and water retention
  • Reduces soil compaction
  • Promotes plant growth
  • Safe to use around children and pets

Leafgro® is a soil amendment widely used by homeowners and landscaping professionals to enhance soil quality by adding humus. It is made from yard trimmings like leaves and grass clippings, which are diverted from landfills and composted at a specialized facility. The result is a valuable, environmentally friendly resource. Leafgro® is a prime example of effective recycling in action!
