This grassy weed is often confused with Crabgrass and other similar species.

Goosegrass Facts:

  • Appears in summer
  • Summer annual
  • Grows up to 24" tall if unmowed, in flattened clumps.
  • Stems are light green to white at base and have a folded appearance
  • Develops long, thin seedheads
  • Prefers to grow in poor, compacted, infertile soil
  • Reproduces by seeds

    Arich and his partner went above and beyond yesterday applying leafgro and organic soil enhancement to my huge yard.
