Dallisgrass

This grassy weed is commonly confused with Crabgrass due to its similar appearance and time of emergence. 

Dallisgrass Facts:

  • Emerges in late spring through summer
  • Perennial grass
  • Grows in spreading clumps
  • Leaf blades are yellow-green, 1/2" wide, with a prominent mid-rib
  • Often grows in areas with poor drainage
  • Spreads by seeds and underground root structures

    Arich and his partner went above and beyond yesterday applying leafgro and organic soil enhancement to my huge yard. Parts of the front lawn had developed a fungus and I can almost hear my grass and soil letting out a sigh of relief after the application yesterday. They also took care to wash down the walkway and sidewalk too.
